Barnabus Santa Dash - 9th December 2023

Join us for another jolly 5k Santa Dash in Heaton Park on Saturday 9th December. The festive fun run starts at 9am at the Lakeside Cafe by the Boating Lake.

The Heaton Park Run is one of Manchesters biggest and they're a super welcoming and friendly running group. Each Christmas they support Barnabus with a fun and festive Charity 5k Santa Dash to raise much needed funds in support of our work with people experiencing homelessness in Manchester.

You don’t need to be a Park Run runner to take part, everyone is welcome and there will be runners and walkers of all abilities. Children and dogs are also welcome: children under 11 must run with an adult, dogs must be on a lead.

We raise funds through Santa Suit sales, donations and sponsorship. Our Barnabus van arrives on the day from 8.30am with Santa Suits for sale.

You could even turn your festive dash into a sponsored event it's easy to set up a fundraiser page on Just Giving just ask your friends and family to sponsor you, and perhaps set yourself the goal of running further than 5km.

You can purchase a santa suit in advance down below. Please select your required size and quantities below, we just ask that you make a contribution to cover the cost of postage for each item.

The closest Car Park is situated off Sheepfoot Lane, head towards the lake on foot from the car park allow 10mins to walk round the lake. Follow signs for the boating lake and Pavilion Cafe or just follow a santa!
