Other Services in Manchester ACCESS ROUND-THE-CLOCK SUPPORT WE’RE HERE WHEN YOU’RE IN NEED If you’re over the age of 25 and require one-to-one support, visit our support centre Monday to Thursday. Just ask to meet a member of our support team. At Barnabus we will try to find you the help you need, however sometimes other organisations are better suited to help you and there are steps you can take before meeting one of our support workers to smooth the referral process. OUT OF HOURS Need urgent help outside of our usual support hours? Please visit www.streetsupport.net, or call Manchester City Council's rough sleeper team on 0161 234 5339 or 0161 234 5001. You can also visit Coffee 4 Craig, a homeless charity also offering support outside of our hours. They open between 6pm-8pm on weekdays and 5pm-7pm on weekends for hot meals, warm showers, clean clothing and one-to-one support assessments. They can be contacted on 0161 383 2926. I’M UNDER 25 If you are 25 or under please contact the Centrepoint national helpline for advice Mon-Fri 9am-5pm by freephone 0808 800 0661, webform or live chat on their website, or you can Whatsapp them on 07557 255 965. MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL We always recommend that you see either your local authority council or the Manchester City Council. Everyone will need to speak with the Manchester Housing Solutions team on 0161 234 4992. You will speak with an assessment worker who will determine whether the council can help you immediately. CLAIM UNIVERSAL CREDIT If you’re out of work or on a low income, you may be eligible for Universal Credit or a support allowance. You’ll need a bank account to claim it. If you don’t currently have an account, don’t worry. Just visit our drop-in centre and we’ll help you set one up. Manage Cookie Preferences
