See the Council’s homeless assessment team We always recommend that you see either your local authority council or the Manchester City Council. Everyone will need to speak with the Manchester Housing Solutions team on 0161 234 4992. You will speak with an assessment worker who will determine whether the council can help you immediately. A warm welcome at the Beacon Support Centre At the Beacon Support Centre, 45 Bloom Street, M1 3LY, we offer regular morning sessions. Here, you can get food, showers and clothing, and there's also a nurse in or medical suite on a Thursday. Early Morning Breakfast: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 8:30am Morning drop-in sessions: Monday to Thursday, 9:15am – 12pm Confidential one-to-one support Our team are always happy to help. They’ll sit, listen, and offer confidential support on a wide range of issues - from finding volunteering and paid employment, to emergency accommodation referrals and locating detox programmes. You can also be reffered for more in depth support. Out of hours If you need help outside of our opening hours or cannot reach our drop in you can call the Manchester City Council Rough Sleeper Team on 0161 234 5339.
