What a year 2024 has been! Thank you for making it a year of success for the people we support and for Barnabus.

We have had one of our toughest years in our 33 year history. We've experienced a massive demand for help from more people facing homelessness. It's been a struggle at times to get all the resources together to best help them. It's been an extremely challenging year for the whole charity sector; many charities across the country, including some we work with very closely, are struggling to survive or have tragically had to close their doors for good.

Despite this, and only thanks to your support, we were able to have what can only be described as a brilliant year where we have helped an incredible 166 people to get off the streets. We're delighted to see our housing project growing! Our housing team is supporting 26 people in their own homes, we have 5 people in our supported accommodation and another 4 ready to move into new Barnabus supported accommodation in early 2025.

Our case worker team has had a series of successes in helping friends to overcome difficult circumstances and challenges throughout 2024. They have helped hundreds of people to reconnect with family, access mental health, drug and alcohol support and ultimately supported people off the streets into temporary accommodation or their own homes.

Our Music Therapy returned after a short hiatus and was more popular than ever with our friends turning up week after week to relax and make music together.

Our Allotment project saw its first harvest since the pandemic. Those who attended the project throughout the year saw personal growth alongside the vegetables they nurtured, learning new life skills and getting a regular break from their difficult recovery journey.

You made it possible with your support, your donations big or small, you attending our events, you spreading the word about our work to your friends and family and your compassion for people who you will never meet who will never be able to thank you but have been able to turn their lives around thanks to you.

We're excited to continue this success in 2025. We hope you will be there with us because together we can help many more people on their journey off the streets.
