Urgently needed items Urgently needed items 66% of the people we see sleep rough on the streets in all weathers, with others staying in emergency shelters, hostels or even sofa surfing. Donating food can help us serve hot meals, your unwanted clothes can keep our friends warm and dry, and unused toiletries, underwear and socks can help to make those who sleep rough feel human again. We also provide food parcels to our friends who we have housed or those who are housed but at risk of becoming homelessness. Most importantly food parcels help to relieve the financial and mental stress of the food shop. The people we help can often be making tough choices between paying for their rent, bills and food. Our food parcels allow us to support them even in just a small way and are effective at helping them stay off the streets. Here is our ever changing list of items we are urgently short of: Long life milk Cordial Baked beans Cereal Peanut butter Tinned tomatoes Boxer shorts (small and medium) Coffee Hot dogs Sugar Tinned veg Tinned fish Corned beef Pasta sauce Sweet and sour sauce Noodles Custard Instant coffee Rice pudding Tinned fruit Socks Chocolate spread Gifts in kind If you think the company you own or work for could help us out, we also take donations from retailers, manufacturers, agents, distributors and wholesalers.
