How to help people experiencing homelessness this summer

For people sleeping on the streets hot weather poses a serious threat to their health , it can be difficult to find drinking water, cool showers and cool spaces to spend time in and without storage, people are often wearing extra layers or carrying heavy bags all day. Together these put people at risk of sunburn, dehydration and, in some cases, heat stroke. Read more

Charities release joint statement condemning UK plans to remove rough sleepers

The UK government has published guidance on new immigration rules, which make rough sleeping grounds for enforced removal – regardless of whether someone is living in the UK legally. Together with Crisis and over 60 organisations, we're urging the government to scrap these new rules immediately. Read more
